　　God grant a blessing on this tower and cottage
! A% V" e+ k) r　　And on my heirs， if all remain unspoiled，
! C9 `9 q% k7 Y7 D$ \( x0 |　　No table or chair or stool not simple enough
& J" ?$ R  D- `  e! [　　For shepherd lads in Galilee; and grant
　　That I myself for portions of the year
! [, [$ Q1 E) o, B  g$ v- ~　　May handle nothing and set eyes on nothing
2 a( ~3 }# ?) \) n　　But what the great and passionate have used
/ b6 E, M+ S8 O  n* _　　Throughout so many varying centuries
  J0 M* t9 f  h6 M, w$ d' r% `# q　　We take it for the norm; yet should I dream
. e- v8 A! H& m' o: H# q- j* g% f　　Sinbad the sailor‘s brought a painted chest，
0 c. j4 ^  k( D　　Or image， from beyond the Loadstone Mountain，
　　That dream is a norm; and should some limb of the devil
　　Destroy the view by cutting down an ash
　　That shades the road， or setting up a cottage
4 G% {) j( \" X$ V　　Planned in a government office， shorten his life，
& `* P- ]: b; m# B　　Manacle his soul upon the Red Sea bottom.
